Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Timberley House is a big and beautiful country house that’s exclusively yours to rent for family holidays and celebrations with the people who mean the most to you. 12 bedrooms sleep up to 28 guests; 9 are in the main house and 3 are in the annexe just a short stride away. All yours are an outdoor heated swimming pool (Apr-Oct), Hot tub & games room, movie room, and large grounds with a tennis court and children’s play area. The River Arun winds its way through the fields just a stone’s throw away, the views are of the glorious West Sussex countryside and sunsets over Amberley Castle. To spend time here is to truly unwind and enjoy every minute of being together, to relax with no distractions and no noise – just peace and quiet, seclusion and bird song.

You might not even feel the need to go anywhere when you stay at Timberley House; you’ll probably be perfectly happy right here because there’s everything you need – all those fabulous features, walks on the private estate and along the river. It’s your world for however long you’re here. Close by are the villages of Pulborough and Amberley with local shops, the historic market town of Arundel with its castle and cathedral, and several good country pubs; a little further are family attractions and beautiful beaches. Getting here: Major routes are within easy reach and trains run direct from Pulborough to London Victoria in less than 1.5 hours. Gatwick Airport is only 30 minutes drive.
